Pillowcases and Cushions

Today while cutting out the above beautiful pillowcases, I was left with two smaller bits of the gorgeous rose fabric. I had a bright idea! (Oh no not another bright idea - I can hear Peter saying in the background).
Little itsy bitsy cushions to go with the pillowcases. I love them, they are so cute. What do you think? You can buy them over here if you would like to.

I was so excited today, to get the first batch of samples of the new fabrics I have been working on. I love them. If you would like to see more you can view them on my Spoonflower Shop.

Curly leaves and flowers

A little glimpse of a new print to come soon. A lovely curly leaf and flower inspired by the Jasmine plant that lives in a pot by our front door.

Just one more leaf to carve and Nicola can start printing . . .

The photoshoots and the reality

When I take pictures of our products our house always looks tidy, if a little lived in. I thought you might like a look over my shoulder at the reality. Above is a picture I took today in my workroom of my latest blanket creation, ready to be listed on Felt. Below is what my sewing room really looks like.
My sewing workstation and ever present ironing board.
Piles of fabric all cut out and ready to sew.
And piles of blankets all printed and ready to be finished off or stored away. Not to mention the little fluff bunnies that can build up with in a couple of hours of me cutting and sewing wool blankets. Hope I haven't shocked you too much.

Blue blue and more blue

Each week I manage to get one day of printing. This week I had a very blue day.
I really love these indigo and dark turquoise butterflies on beautiful vintage New Zealand wool blankets.

Beautiful Linen

I have been printing on beautiful natural linen, it is such a wonderful fabric to work with. I have printed so far 2m of indigo blue and olive green "Napier Rose". It is available per half metre over in my Felt shop.
