Circles, Butterflies and more spots

In a local op-shop last week I picked up a couple of beautiful pieces of pure white vintage cotton. The first print I did, the one above, I used a lovely Indian printing block I got from the local Trade Craft shop. The result was stunning I think, I am going to call this print circle daisy. The second print I did was using Peter's butterfly block and my favorite dots. Yet another stunning result.

and even more dotty loveliness

Nicola is waiting for yours truly to carve some more blocks. I have a list but cannot seem to get to it at the moment, my teacup always seems to be empty and need refilling. But does all this manly slackness stop Nicola?

Of course not! The kitchen is now full of beautiful white dotted coloured lampshades . . .

More dotty loveliness

While waiting for Peter to finish more wood blocks for me and the arrival of the organic fabrics, I could not resist experimenting with more green dots. In this case brightening up a plain old duvet cover. As usual that has fired up a whole bunch of new ideas for me to mull over. For which I will need to find a good reliable source of organic cotton sheeting. Back to more googling for me, not that I need much of an excuse.

We are in business...........

I am a little obsessed with spots and dots at the moment. So not surprisingly our first items up for sale are spotty lampshades. To see our new shops click the links on the left and you can visit us on Etsy and Felt. While I am waiting for Peter to complete more blocks I have been experimenting with stripes, with the help of a lazy cat. Not quite right yet, but getting there.
